After years of working with all sorts of materials in many different ways, Sherry G. Selevan discovered glass. It was life altering! Now she makes jewelry, clocks, plates, and more with modern lines and a wonderful eye for color. Pictures only show part of their appeal – many have a silk-like sandblasted finish.

The process, in brief: Pieces of glass are cut, arranged and fused in a kiln using temperatures up to 1600 degrees F. Fused pieces are “cold-worked” (sawed, sanded, sandblasted, drilled . . .) and returned to the kiln up to 4 times to get the final finish and shape.

All items on this website are fused glass, and include jewelry, functional pieces (such as bowls and platters), and decorative items. The items shown in the Gallery are representative of her work; others are also available.  Each piece is handmade and no two are identical . . . kiln work is magic, pieces of glass go in, and come out a single piece, each with its own special form.

Every effort has been made to accurately photograph the items on this website.  However,  monitors and printers vary, possibly altering the colors you see.

Some of these items, and others, are for sale. For more information, or to be added to an email list for upcoming events, please email sherry 'at' sgs-artglass.com.
